365 days of Kaia was a year-long project I began as a way to capture, not only the fun and playfulness of my four-year-old daughter, but also to document how much she would change over the course of one year.
The project created a lot of attention. Over 200 thumbnail sized photos were featured in an article for the Jackson Hole News and Guide. The spread later won an award from the National Press Photographers Association for Best Use of Photography. It was also picked up by Piyo Piyo and used in several of their advertising campaigns.

Being a designer for a weekly newspaper taught me to be quick and creative while nimble enough to redesign on the fly. We had an amazing group of people who worked closely together to produce a multiple Press Award winning paper. I enjoy the diversity that news paper work brings. Whether I was designing ads, laying out the news paper, editing photos or just updating the website, I found myself constantly engaged and hitting multiple deadlines.
POWDER MOUNTAIN PRESS
GRAPHIC DESIGN | PHOTO EDITOR PHOTOGRAPHER
Powder Mountain Press publishes five boutique magazines bi-annually. Working with magazines is dynamic and fast paced. I handled a number of clients, photographers and editors simultaneously. In this environment, staying well organized doesn't just make life easier, it's the only way to hit your deadlines.
PHOTOGRAPHY | PHOTO MANIPULATION
By working closely with a ski instructor on the mountain, I was able to shoot and create instructional images depicting different telemark skiing turns and techniques.
LOGO DESIGN | AD DESIGN | PHOTOGRAPHY
The Jackson Hole Wild Festival director came to me seeking the creation of a logo that would convey the playful wildness of their annual nature festival. I created an ad campaign along with shooting their runway models during the culmination of the event.
